From the pictures, I would guess 1940s-1950s and most likely an OC5 lock, which to my knowledge was strictly 3 wheel. If the Yale medallion will pop off the dial, there may be a dial mounting screw underneath. And who knows what else!
From the handle, I’d say it might have been made to mount in a larger safe or other limited space.
