Help with Federal Equipment Co lock

Anyone with a photo of the inner workings of a Federal lock (copy of the old,old S&G 6120) or the S&G 8110, please post.I’m having a wee bit of trouble figuring how the lever spring is to be attached. I have done 2 of these locks in the past but I can’t figure out this one. The lock is of the spring latch type and was made from the ’60s to early ’80s. This isn’t in the antique category of locks but I’ve tried with no results on other forums to get info.

thank you. after comparing the 2 lever springs it now appears mine is missing a very, very short piece that goes over the lever. it probably broke during my bouncing attack on the container. i could have drilled and pushed the latch in but i went with the bouncing. shoulda, woulda, coulda. thanks for the pics, david.
