question about antique locks

hellofirst time herei am looking to buy a few of these locks(see picture)if there old ones thats great,but i will also buy new one if they make themmy question is where can a buy them?thank you all for your timescottieok so the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS button is not working for me wonderful!!!!!!!!okay, so the locks are antique, made of brass,may be called cabinet locks1 ½ inches long1 ¾ inches wide1/4 inch highthe “base” of this lock is L shaped with 4 hole in it for mountingthe key for these are a flat piece of metal with square groves cut on one sideif you think you know what i am looking for,i can send you pictures by emailslots21@hotmail.comthanks scottie

What you are seeking is a half mortise lever tumbler drawer lock using a flat steel key. Fairly common years ago, unfortunately I am unaware of an extant source for this type of lock. Contemporary product all has disc tumbler, pin tumbler or barrel type keys. No. 590 from the former Corbin Cabinet Lock Co. was a very popular version around these parts but has been discontinued for decades, see thumbnail attached. I happen to have three of these NOS which are keyed alike and have been in my possession for nearly fifty years, I might be persuaded to part with them, but they won’t come cheap.

I would need to get $25.00 each and this would include shipping for the lot of three via USPS Priority Mail. If you have the locks and just need keys, a locksmith could make them and likely for less than the cost of my hard-to-find new locks.

if it all right with you,i think i will put this deal on hold for now.
i do see them come up for sale (not very often) and i just missed two of them for $18.50on ebay ,,,didnt get home soon enought to bid on them
