Hey everybody, i am new to this forum, so please excuse any stupidity i may show in the questions i ask! Also i am new to the world of safes and locks, so its safe to assume i know absolutly nothing at all. Anyhow my uncle just came into possession of a J&J taylor safe, with the dimensions of 36″ wide, 24″ deep and 36″ tall, plus the legs. To describe it, its big and heavy duty looking. I cant find any vin or serial numbers, but i dont know where to look either. It has two combination dials, and a big bar that appears to be a lock of some kind. It has not been opened in 30+ years. Its in great shape, with some minor wear and tear on the outside but looks essentailly mint and untouched. My uncle paid 300 dollars for it, but has since been offered 1000 for it. What would be the rough value if this safe? I realise im being vague, and at the moment i dont have pictures to post, but i will soon. It looks real heavy duty, but then again i am a bad judge hahaha. Anyhow any assistence on this matter would be awesome and ill post pics soon!!!
