It really looks old because of the casting mode that was used to make it. I wish I could find some parts to restore it, but it seems to be very rare. once again thank you!

Back in the days before they were called the Reading Lock Co. they were called the Reading Knob Works and had a logo they put on cylinders as

and that was inside an octagon. That was before the standardization of size and thread for a mortise cylinder. Many manufacturers made key machines around the turn of the century so there is a remote possibility it could have been made by Reading. That is the only company I know of that ever had an octagon as a logo or part of one.
It’s all a guess, hope it helps.
