By enlarging the provided photo it is hazy, but looks like the “FS” diamond logo to the left of the date. “FS” being “Fraim-Slaymaker Lock co”.
This type of lock is what’s commonly refered to as “fancyback” or “fancy cast-back” as it’s easier on the eyes as oposed to a plain lock simply STAMPED, or “pǝdɯɐʇs” with the owners name. These “heart shaped” locks were and still are counterfeited by the tons, however the “FS” trademark looks legit. That’s all I’m sayin’…
