Smithy hi i have some safe plates that i know are quite rare. one of them is a grove &son combined with chubb, the other is Hobbs hart &co.would appreciate it if anyone know the value, thanks
Tom Gordon I am sorry Smithy but you will be able to find either of them on ebay within a month or two, as they are both quite common -probably they would sell for £10 each.
Timbo I have just sold one of each on ebay. The Groves plate fetched £7.50 and the HOBBS fetched £7.75. I was hoping that they would both fetch more but it depends who wants them at the time I guess. It also depends on how rare they are. These two are nice plates but quite common amongst collectors. Tim
