Can anyone assist me with information regarding my treasure chest lock that requires three keys to operate? The chest has long ago rotted away but the lock, keys, and the trunk’s lid catch-piece are all intact and are working.
It’s a beauty, lightly rusted, but intricate tooling is still noticeable on interior parts that would strangely be hidden to the eye while the lock was mounted in place. I suspect most of these are gathering more rust at the ocean’s bottom.
I am new to this procedure, so I hope the photo shows up. I have other angles and I be happy to attach them to an e-mail if you think you can provide some help. Thanks for looking.
