The connection isnāt direct, but it is there. Our branches of the Towne family separate a generation or so before he was born, but we do share common ancestors. It was discovering that connection that first got me interested in the history of lock engineering, actually, which is a big part of why Iāve lurk on this forum. I should probably start contributing a little moreā¦
