Terryville Lock Show

I am planing a trip to the ‘Antique Padlock and Hardware Show’ in Terryville Conn., scheduled for Oct. 8th. Would enjoy hearing from any members who have attended in the past, and what they thought of the show. Also anybody who is going this year(2011), I would enjoy meeting any of the members in person, it would be nice to be able to put a face with a name, and maybe spend a few minutes talking locks.

Not being a collector myself it is hard to judge the value of the show in that light. I have attended twice and thought it very good. And not every show has a world class lock collection (at the Lock Museum) to go along with it. It is a small town in a rural area, very nice. There is also a clock museum nearby. I was hoping to go to Vermont this fall so I will probably be going. Doug

I have been there and it was well worth the entire day to tour the lock museum. The show on the other hand I would love to go but it is 2500 miles.
