From the sound and amount of pressure to throw the bolt it seems that the key may have to be filled more?
The acquired wear on the key beard may be affecting the correct lifting height for the detent lever and bolt?
An establishing shot and a few in focus shots would help alot.
Extreme close-ups aren’t good unless they are in focus and held steady.
