You have to know that the lock that they end up making maybe based on the patent but the design may have changed to make it easier to make. I have a patent for the lock I collect and I also have the first production that is VERY different than the lock they started making the very next year. The locks were still marked with the patent number but were different than the lock that was really based on. Even more so in later versions that still had that patent number.
In your case they might have gone from a swing out to just a pull out but the method of locking stayed the same to make it easier to make being there would be less parts. Search around that time frame you may find something else. You don’t show the lock opened so we didn’t know that there was that much difference.
The way to search for anything is to use a name or time frame and look for key words. Google Patents makes that pretty easy.
