In his younger days my grandfather was an amateur escape artist and over the years he accumulated a rather sizable quantity of locks, keys, leg irons, etc. As he is currently moving into a retirement home he asked if I would be able to sell a number of his things including his old collection as he is unable to take them with him. While we suspect much of it to be junk there appear to be a few pieces that look to be worth something, and I was wondering if someone here could point me in the right direction as far as identifying and/or appraising (or at least an opinion on) those items. I was also wondering if there was a better place than Ebay specifically for antique locks and keys that I could sell them on?
