Small Climax Utility Box Padlock info needed

Hello fellow lock enthusiasts,

I came across a neat little padlock today and I need some info about it if anyone knows anything. The lock in question is a small Climax Utility Box Padlock. I own a lot of Climax locks similar to this one but the biggest difference is in it’s size and the absence of a chain clevis. Here are some photos showing the little lock by itself and with a normal one so you can see the difference:

Did this lock have any special application due to it’s size and the fact that it has no means of being tethered to a box or door jamb? It is in great working condition but has a non-original key with it (made by yours truly a little while ago) :o:. Does anyone know how much it is worth? I really like this type of lock and I am glad I found it.

P.S. I know someone will tell me to use the image insert tool that is provided but I tried for about 15 minutes to put the 1st image up (every possible way you can with the tool), to no avail. I tried to do it from my saved images on my computer and every option available from my Photobucket and could not get them to upload. I am not being a rebel and posting direct links to be difficult. 🙁-:

Mike, nice lock,but unfortunatly I can’t give you any more info than you already have. I thought I had that same lock in my collection, but mine has the chain clevis attachment on the bottom. However mine is 2 ¼ wide and 2 ¾ tall (from the top of the bail to the bottom of the lock,not counting the extension for the clevis). Mark
