Collection valuation

Hello,

First of all, I am from the Netherlands so my english might be a bit off sometimes.
I came to this site because I couldn’t find any dutch lockpicking forums.

I recently got a collection of padlocks from my grandmother.
My grandfather passed away about 10 years ago and she is moving to a nursing home and therefor has no more room to keep them. Since no-one ells in the family is into lockpicking/collecting we have decided to try and sell them.

However, knowing nothing about these things I need some help with selling them. (I dont know the price etc)
It is a Collection with about 100-200 locks, all of them are padlocks.
I can make photo’s of all of them if someone wants to value them.

So if anyone could give me advice that would be greatly appriciated.

I posted this on lockpicking101.com and they advised me to also try it here.
I have also uploaded a few photo’s of some of the locks

In the first 1 the scale is both in Centimeters and on the 2nd and 3rd the bottem scale is in inches and left one in centimeters.
Maybe someone can value these?

Some of those locks are common and newer, a few are older and maybe worth more. We will have to wait for some of our padlock collectors to stop in. Here are two sites that may help a bit in finding out what you have.

Sjoerd, Can you post pics of all the locks? You could even group them together in larger groups. I might be interested in purchasing,but I would need to see what you have. Mark
