Dean Nickel I would say a gate or barn. Castle locks I have seen keys for were a bit more refined. That is not saying it could be for a very old castle lock, but I don’t believe so. That key has the feel of a blacksmith, not a locksmith as it has simple ward cuts.
sksvlad Yes, probably blacksmith, the key end (which I’ll post later in a photo) is a round ball with bang marks from a hammer, someone shaped it into a rough ball.
