I agree with Dean, that style was made in the late 1800’s up until around the 1950’s. The locks up until around 1910 used a perfectly flat key so yours is likely after that. The shackle on yours is called a ‘bull ring’ shackle and was probablyused to lock up foot lockers or gear bags/duffle bags. The fact that the US is cast into the body gives a little date info and IIRC that was only done by Yale from the 1880’s until around 1930-1935. So your lock was likely made between 1910 and 1935.
You could call Yale and ask them when the UR code series was active for specific date information. They may or may not have that information available. The info was there when I was Key Records Manager for them but that was 20 years ago.
