I know many collectors around the world, if you could bring this thread to the attention of the collector in the US, I would be very interested to know how he was able to date them so accurately. I assume there was no makers name, patent numbers or trademarks on the locks not previously mentioned ?
As to the remainder, it’s hard. They are’nt really the kind of locks that appeal to lock collectors in general as such collectors generally look for complex or interesting mechanisms, the main field would probably be in that of Architectural antiques for period restorations or film / TV etc.
