Just a guess,but I think the Red Cross lock was made in the late 1890’s to sometime in the early teens. It’s a fairly common lock that you see come up on ebay quite often. Value isn’t very high in your condition as usually the springs inside will rust away after being buried that long. If the lock was in good condition with a working key value would be around $25-$45. I’m no expert just a collecter,I’m sure there are others out there with more knowledge than me that could wiegh in on this. Mark
