It’s going to be worth whatever you paid, after all locks (or anything else) are only worth what people are prepared to pay and that is especially true of locks of ‘ primitive ’ design that are almost impossible to date as they have been made to the same designs by the same methods for many years.
This is different to modern padlocks and patent lock designs which have in many cases an established sales history and market base that can be used to gauge pricing with reasonable accuracy.
As to more information, I doubt you will find much (if any). But now the lock is here it’s going to find it’s way into the search engine indexes and it’s possible that more information will surface in the future.
