Timothy Welcome! Not sure about this padlock of your as the way it look it could be use for chain to lock up bike or gate. The only reason is because of large shackle to put chain on it. Just maybe someone will come up better answer as this the first time seeing it….Timothy……

I’m guessing some sort of antique auto application. Chicago Lock Co. was an early supplier of auto locks & keys (1910-1930) and 2382 is a valid Chicago code which cuts on their K4 blank. [unknown]
bbcci I just saw my first one of these in another forum. here is the only info posted with it “Marked McGraw. Appears to be an ice proof substation padlock. Chicago double sided keyway”. And a link to the picture,

RobertV First buy and…. first mistake. I’m new in this community and I really like padlocks. But my primary competencies are about antique radios. I’m pretty good with vintage electronic and tubes radios. Just finded out that this lock is made by Hubbell (ice-breaker padlock ) and could have been built….2 weeks ago…..
