I’ve always been a little unclear on the history of J&J Taylor. I believe they started as an independent company in Canada, then partnered with Mosler, and Mosler later acquired them outright. What happened when Mosler went out of business I don’t know.

So I’ll ask, do you know much about Taylor’s history (including dates) and current status?

Likewise I think Ahern was a Canadian company that had ties to York. Can you fill in Ahern’s history?

I have been searching for sales and/or technical info for a bank vault door mfg in Canada. Late 70s through the 1980s. In the states we refer to it as the Canadian Chubb. Quite a few of these filtered down in my area. No luck with Gunnebo.
