Hello and can anyone identify this lock?

Hi,

First post here. I have an old lock, I think they refer to this as a post office lock, but I’m not sure. It was used on an old railway strong box.

Can anyone identify this lock?

I don’t see a manufacturers name anywhere. I did take some measurements.

Also any ideas where I can find a replacement (with keys)

As for why would you need a new lock? Just missing keys? A good locksmith can make those if you call around and see if anyone can kit keys flat lever lock. Try to make sure it is a shop that has been around awhile or at least has someone that is a safe tech as this lock falls into the safe deposit type lock. This would be an older less used skill.

One of the keys has been stolen, so I would like to replace the lock, so it has a new key.

You don’t need to replace the lock, just have it rekeyed. There are a lot of qualified locksmiths out there than can do this but there is the king of SD locks outside Raleigh NC and I will get his number on here if you need it.

Yesterday at the Cleveland Key Shop, I saw a very similar lock, also with no name. The biggest difference in style is the square peekhole on yours. I am embarrassed that I can’t remember the gent in N.C., but you can get it done just as easily here. Cleveland Key Shop, 1628 St. Clair Ave. Cleveland , OH 44114. 216-241-6074 . Ask for Bruce
