Old Yale padlocks?????

Hey there!

I’m REALLY brand new to this whole deal, so humor me as I waddle around!

I just acquired a bunch of padlocks; several are Yale, and have keys. I guess I’m trying to figure out WHAT they are, what age and maybe value?

Also, would it depreciate the value (if any) if I shined them up a little?

I’m also TRYING to upload a picture - there will probably be a few of the same; sorry!

It’s best not to polish them, unless you only intend to keep them yourself and you prefer them that way - as most collectors don’t like locks that have been over restored.
