My name is Paul; I live in the Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada (near Niagara Falls). I’m a chartered accountant, but enjoy all manner of building/restoring/fixing/imagining things in my spare time. When I was younger I had a great interest in picking locks, and their operation, and being just before the internet, I remember my dad taking me to the library so that I could get some books on how locks worked.
I signed up here due to just purchasing a vintage safe that I’d like to restore as a functional showpiece. I am interested in the history of the pieces I pick up, but history on this safe is very lacking, from the seller and everyone else. I’ve posted it in the safe forum, and hope that someone might be able to tell me something about it.
