tried again after reducing pics,did not work
this one is larger than my previous chain lock. impressioned key,works great

That is an impressive lock. Most of the time, when I see something like this, I think of lightweight bicycle locks.

What was the final determination on why your pictures wouldn’t upload? I see you figured it out; the resolution might be helpful the next time somebody has similar problems.

i waited then logged in 2 or 3 times before site allowed me post pictures or do anything till permissions allowed it
had to log in twice to anser this time,,,,first time all permissions were not allowed,second time all permissions were allowed except editing

most of my chain locks are for bags etc,like you stated,but this one is huge , bigger than the one before this

This is a problem the forum has had for several years now. If I log in, it quickly forgets that fact and considers me to be a visitor, not a member. Keep an eye on the “Welcome” area near the very top right-hand side of the page. I’ve had cases where I went to a new page and I could see it change from “Welcome, wylk” to “User Name Password Log in”. If I back up a page, it returns to “Welcome, wylk” and I can go back and forth, changing from logged in to not logged in.

If you can get to the small pop-up window to log in, do so, and be sure to tick “Remember Me?”. After that, you should be OK until the next time you access the forum. One way is to try replying to a message, just to get the login window.

This showed up suddenly one day, and I’m surprised it hasn’t fixed.
