not to old ord hard to replace spring and key. Do not recommend taking apart,sometimes have to .
It now has a key and new shackle spring and works great. WATCH the spring it will draw blood poke small holes in finger/did not happen on this one.
Tried 17 pictures all failed,might be to large ? Will try again

It would be nice if these were all togather. Please watch the spring if anyone decides to repair a simular lock
If you decide to repair one of these they are old and stud sometimes break and brass cases crack so be gentle these are great old 6 lever push keys and alot still work great without repair.

Nice job f repair the lock. Something funny about the shackle look differ than the other pancake lock.

Yes is it hard to put to many picture on it. It happen to me too and sure other have same problem…Tim..

I have 3 x Champion pancake locks - one with a key, and 2 without keys. One of them without a key is so black/old/disfigured, I have often mused that I should open it and make a key for it.

Unfortunately, I am merely a collector and not a locksmith, so have no idea at all as to how I would open it safely and get key blanks to make a working key. But that it can be done has sparked my interest yet again…

if at all possible pick your locks open then use that pattern for the key
do not open them unless last resort to repair,you can always tell when they have been opened
there is several locksmiths on this site from U K that can pick your locks and make the keys for you
if the shackle moves up and down a little the shackle spring should be good if not springs are hard to find
you might want to talk to one of these locksmith on this site from U K,might be the keys and any repair needed would cost more than the lock
