Miller logo champion master levered,again

found this one not working on ebay and with the 123 on it i thought it might be mastered,got lucky and it was.
The other locks always had 5 master levers,this one only 4 and broken shackle spring, do not like taking apart these but it now works good for me.

Did not like taking apart but with a used spring and 3 working keys,i’m good with the results
thought the inner workings might be of interest to some

Question: How did you know the padlock was Master key..??.. To me as looking at picture of wafer there two cut on it. I do know almost all have one cut and if it was two cut that may be hard trying to get master cut to do it…..Timothy…..

I saw 123 on shackle and thought it might be mastered. the locking dog on mastered is very thin where it enter the gate . NOT all but most rr pancakes are mastered or designed for the key to work in either direction. My l&n are mastered,the ICCR works either way and has no master levers.
there is usually a # on the face or shackle or date,so far the miller’s i found with master levers and either high,reg or low shackle(auto) with the single
pin or no pin/high shackle. Sure there are others by other companies but if i do not have to fix them i DO not take apart ,
got lucky finding this one,I do have others that until removing cover you could not tell they were master levered.

the fence or dog,one is much narrower to allow entrance into gate or lever that is master cut

Before putting the key inside the lock will you be able to see the two cut on the lever pin inside the lock without taken it apart..??..Timothy….

no,go to david heuermann site and he has great info on how to work the levers.(free) antique padlocks
i tried a pin scope (wafer) and could not see any thing
