Deano351 Hello all, Would someone be able to tell me what this lock was used for or a brand name. Just picked it up at a garage sale. Thanks
wylk Generically that is called a screw lock. More specifically it’s probably made by Raco for low-security railroad applications such as battery boxes. I’ve also seen them securing access doors on signal lights (for replacing bulbs and/or access to wiring).

Now marketed under the Safetran brand by Siemens Industry, Inc.; see pgs K1-K6 of the pdf at the link:https://w3.usa.siemens.com/mobility/us/en/Documents/K1-K38%20Tools%20and%20Accessories.pdf Pete Schifferli [unknown]
