Need help to ID a big brass padlock with key

Hello all,

I woul appreciate any help in order to date and find the origins of this lock, please.
Having problems up loading pictures,I will add more pic’s later on.

I should have add that it measures 18/13 cm and weights nearly 2 kg with his key.

Both the lock and the key look to be the typical Indian repros from Aligarh.

It looks like someone has had that lock apart to fit the key. I’m not so sure either is Indian origin. The Indian keys typically look like the bit could be used like a comb and this one isn’t even close to that. Plus isn’t it unusual for the bolt throw to be in the center of the bit? Wish we had one more picture that showed the keyhole.

Adding pictures was the least I could do, but I have been strugling to get more one.

I also want to add I got a response from somebody called,Scott Caley telling me;
