My 1931 catalogue shows a ‘medium quality’ galvanised padlock, apparently 4 lever,, with offset kh and same shape body as Huw’s, but with the kh near the bottom of the case, as normal.
2, 2½, and 3″ sizes.

‘Sheradising’ is another process to coat iron with zinc. The object is tumbled for several hours in a hot drum with zinc powder.
