Hello. I am secretary of a club in Hartlepool that opened in 1851. An old safe that we possessed was ruined by thieves and was impossible to repair. However I saved the plaque from the front. I can find only one passing reference to Whittingham Bros. Apparently they begain manufacturing at Sedgley near Willenhall. Does anyone have more information please?
