I run a specialty hardware store in Birmingham, Alabama, and I am currently working with an architect on a job in Florida. He has requested a lock that I am not familiar with.
The application is a door leading down to a cellar. On this door he wants a type of lock that would be nothing but a decorative skeleton type keyhole at the top of the stairs to lock, and some type of turnpiece on the inner side of the door. Therefore, if anyone was accidentally locked down there, they would be able to get out.
Please help.
