Do you guys know if there are museums (in Texas would be best, because that’s where I liveg) where I could see the step by step setting of an 1880’s bank time lock? To sort of see it in action, so to speak. I’ve found excellent photos online of time locks. I have been less successful in finding photos of old bank vaults and how and where the time locks were attached to them and some sort of visual aid to give me an idea of just how the locks worked. I’m interested in the type of vaults and locks that would be in a city bank, but not a huge bank–just medium sized–in the mid 1880’s. If anyone’s familiar with a place I could visit or maybe online videos or anything like that, I’d sure appreciate it. Thanks very much.
