Hello all, I recently acquired a barrel shaped combination lock with 6 wheels of 19 letters plus a star, somewhat similar to the 7 wheeled lock shown in the header of this site. There do not appear to be any markings. I have seen a number these before, but they most commonly have 4 wheels, fewer letters around the wheels and are less finely stamped. Does anyone know what these locks are called, and for this lock in particular, any ideas concerning age, country of origin or perhaps even the maker? Also, does anyone have more photos or information about the lock displayed in the header? Thanks.
