Timothy I buy this Reese Padlock from 22 Vintage and antique padlock for sale. The reason because this is the first time I have seen Reese padlock as pancake padlock lock. Not sure what the date will be but do know somewhere start about 1900 end 1961. I impression the key for this lock to get it open.
bbcci Nice job with the key! The only info I can add, is I had a look in a 1926 catalog reprint and did not see this model there. There were Excelsior and Secure iron pancakes. There was a mention that Reese was formally Excelsior Lock & Hardware Co.
Timothy Thank bbcci I only thing trying to think of what the original key blank look like for this padlock. It almost close to more like Yale original key blank #88 or #89. Which don’t have but guess just have to keep looking….Timothy…
