Only some of these locks have the over sized pins. Some have all 4 key pins
the same size.
I used that quote with an Ebay customer who purchased a restored push key
lock from me. He was very unhappy and sending me messages saying the lock
did not work and he wanted his money back. His problem was that he kept trying to just turn the key without pushing. Hard to believe, eh? I sent him 2 or three messages trying to explain the operation to him but he just didn’t get it until i sent a screen shot of that quote from the Yale catalog. Now he’s a happy customer who has purchased multiple
locks from me.
