The patent number on it pulls up B.E. Soderborg as inventor and was dated April 23, 1919, filed in Stockholm.
Yours used to have a hinged dust cover that folded down over the slide bars. The photo I saw with the dust cover had “Original Dorkus” printed on the top. I could not find any sign of that word in the patent description??
