Help identifying two locks please

Hi all wondering if I could get some help identifying two locks I have.

First:

It has the word patent stamped on it and a number but no other marks i can see, the key has to be turned half way to release the chain if that makes it easier to identify.

A small (2.5cm length) 4 barrel letter combination lock. Now I have seen a few online however this one seems to be slightly different. All ones I have seen have the entire alphabet on each barrel this one how ever has the alphabet spanning all 4 barrels e.g. 1st barrel A-G
2nd barrel H-N
3rd barrel O-U
4th barrel T-Z

Any information on either locks would be amazing plus anything info on how to figure out the combination to the second lock would be great!

First three picture could be just about anywhere as using for gate lock, bike lock or tire lock. As you said there patent with number. If you can give patent number could help more. The combination padlock there a long list of these lock as some don’t have any information some they do…..Timothy…
