I’ve never known it to be reproduced or faked. Would love to add one to my collection, alas most fancy backs are usually way out of my fun money budget. Something like this, I’d say grab it if you can, never know how long till you see another, and you know the lock functions. Let its condition help you decide just how much your willing to trade for it.
