Yale Duplex Padlock with Chain and keys

Looking into the web site and i found this Yale Duplex Padlock. As seem like there more than there it. I don’t have enough information about this but sure going to be hard to find patent number for this lock….I guess just have to keep looking or maybe someone one may know more….Timothy…

Interesting padlock with 2 keys to unlock it.
Haven’t seen this one before?
Several of the antique YALE catalogs don’t have this model illustrated.
Perhaps it was a specialty item?
Or it was a short run product?

A few habdmade antique padlocks have a double key locking/unlocking feature similar to the one you show.
Many of the major Lock manufacturers copy and improve old handmade designs.

There are a few versions of this type made by Yale.
Another more modern has master / change cylinders
which may be opened with either key and a version which must be opened with both keys which has no markings on bottom.
Perhaps military or safety deposit use.
