Adrian Weber I think it is time to post this here too. I wanted to have a cutaway like this for a long time and now I finally have one! I know a collector who has one of those in brand new condition and even with the original box. Sadly mine is not in a that good condition and I do not have the box but I still love it I had a conversation with Solomon and I was mentioning that the old Burg padlocks would have the “real” levers that you can not over lift (Like the British padlocks). Now looking at the cutaway I was probably wrong… But we are not here to discuss bypass methods are we? The brass spacers or “security wafers” are probably just there to prevent the levers from jamming each other. A real piece of history and I hope that you are going to enjoy the pictures!
Adrian Weber And last but definitely not least, the video! You will probably recognize that the padlock is slightly restored and oiled in the video 🙁nerd):
Paul Prescott Nice padlock, I would agree that the brass spacers are only there to prevent the levers binding on each other.
