Timothy 🙁wasntme): Well has this padlock for a long time. This is Corbin New Britain CT made in USA. On the other side it read Ordnance Department USA. The only thing wrong with this padlock as if you look at the keyway more like the Hurd key blank which is not because it to small. I has look high and low looking for this kind of key blank as it is not in any Corbin blank key. If look at attched it would tell size of the key should be.
Dean Nickel I would guess CO10 or something like that. I would have to have the lock at my keyboard to know for sure, as any locksmith would. CCL had a good deal of keyways so take it to a locksmith shop and see if they can find what slips in.
Timothy Hell o Dean I’m locksmith as I did try a lot of keys. Some work some don’t as all I was trying to do it find the right blank for this lock.
Dean Nickel It will be one of those in that part of the CCL keys that are like the CO10. The only man that might know the “right” key would be Seth. I will PM you his info.
Timothy OK Dean I’ll check to see if I have any CO10. I also has been sending message to Seth and has not heard word from him yet. I was thinking maybe he was way to busy for now…..

Timothy Dean and Pete Thank for head-up on key blank. I check the ILCO key blank Catalog and both of them are still too short on top and bottem of key. As per attached I measure the keyway as it should be about ⅝″ top to bottom and the thump side should be about 3/16″. Like I said before I look high and low never see this kind of key blank this size and more like the Hurd blank. I did see some blank in Taylor Lock Company Catalog 5000 Corbin Blank 20HL or 20K not sure if they will work…..

Taylor 20K crosses to Ilco 1000K. Substitutions sourced from Blackhawk KBX key blank cross reference, more info here: http://www.lockcodes.com/ Pete Schifferli [unknown]
Timothy Well finally came up by making my own key for this padlock. A lot of work by file it down to may it almost like a real key blank. I was using the 1001 blank to impression it to working key. Than do all the work as I did two differ blank for it. The cut on this is 25234.
