M.L. Co.Protector Phila US Lock Identification

Hello Folks
While out metal detecting the other day I found this lock. I was able to find others like it online but was unable to find a vintage. Other items found in the area date from the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s so I would surmise this is about the same but, I was unable to find any info on the company. Would anyone out there have an idea?

I guessing this was likely made by the Miller Lock Co. of Philadelphia, PA which was in business from 1879-1930 and sold to Yale & Towne Mfg. Co.*

I have some additional information that may help you date your padlock. The Miller Protector 3 Lever Padlock was patented by Frank Soley on March 22, 1898 (#601,086). The Protector trademark was registered on September 11, 1906 (#56,309).
