The first lock was bought in France. It is barrel shaped and the key screws on.
The barrel is 6 cm long, 13 cm circumference, 4cm diameter.
On its side it measures 11cm across. No specific marking .
Working order.
Indian fake?
The second one was given to me by someone who used to work on a farm in the Australian outback.
It measure 8 cm along (where the ‘closing mechanism’ slide along) 7 cm across
The key is 8 cm long
It’s heavy, looks like it is made of cast iron and it has some trace of maybe brass visible on the back (the other side of where the lock is) and on the key itself. It has not writing of any sort.
Any help in identifying and value those locks would be greatly appreciated.
