What you have there is a screw key lock, probably made in India. I wouldn’t think it is to old, probably not more than 20 years. The older ones had a much better fit and finish and the key loop would be smoother. They are still making this style lock and they appear on ebay quite often. Value isn’t very high, but it’s still an interesting lock and there seems to be lots of people who collect the India made locks.
