It even says ALIGARGH on it!
On eBay, most locks/keys are claimed to be ‘antique’ (and usually also rare), even when clearly less than a century old! Some sellers genuinely don’t know what they have; rather more appear to be simply dishonest. Would you really buy a ‘genuine Rolex watch’ off a market stall for a fiver? Because that is what much of eBay is.
Remember, if it is for use, the shackle is not hardened. But this one probably won’t rust.
