Information wanted please on these safes

Hello, i have these two safes. Sorry about the pictures but couldnt get in any closer. They are open and we have had new keys cut. I think one may be a Milners but as the plaques have been removed i am not sure. Any info would be appreciated as to there make, age, value and design oh and where it would be possible to find the plaques for then. Greatly appreciated.

I don’t think either of them are made by Milner.

You mentioned that you had keys made - if they were made to the locks what make or markings were on the locks ?

The locks were were blank im afraid so nothing really to go by, no markings inside or out. I only presumed they were Milners by the shape of the scroll under the plaque as i’d seen a few plaques in peoples collections on here shaped like that.

The handles are not original and these are low grade safes worth no more than £50 each really. There is no meaningful security value to them and could have been made by any one of the large number of manufacturers that churned them out

Hi there

The double door, appears to be an early Phillips & son. Can you submit an image with the door open, as its back pan door screw/fittings may help to ID. Also need a close up of the lock keyhole. This would also assist in a more positive id. Your large safe may by a Cyrus Price, low grade. Any Paper lables on the inside?

cheers for the responses guys. The thing is im not home for a while so unable to get more photos, i know there were no paper labels, markings or engravings anywhere so at a dead end now. For aesthetic sake i think i’ll try purchase a few plates off ebay and give them a lick of paint. I’ll post the photos when complete.
