There’s locks identical to this on Ebay every day that sell for around $9.99. The give away is the key. If you look at your key and those on Ebay, they are almost carbon copies.The bow and the bit cuts are almost identical. Plus the fact that there are 2 keys with this lock makes me leary as usually most old locks are seldom found with even 1 origional key. Another thing like Dean brought up is that usually lock makers put there name or mark on their locks. This lock design has been around for 100 yrs, but it was an American or British design origionally. The fakes have been made for the last 20 yrs and are really being made in large numbers the last several years. If the person that sold it to you claims it’s from the 1800’s in India,I’de ask for some kind of proof. I’m sorry if this isn’t what you were wanting to hear,but you asked.🙁-:
