I found an old smoke house style lever lock, but it is rusted, so there are no markings on the case. The key hole cover is made of brass and stamped ‘U.S.’ Measures 2.5×2.5×0.75. I’m looking for the manufacturer, a date, and the significance of the ‘U.S.’ stamping. Thanks in advance for your help!
